DESCRIPTION:Part Two of Spring Spirituality Series\,  April 12th 12PM to 1:30PM EDT\nJoelle M from ST. Louis\, MO\,  ‘How Meditation Serves as a Major Catalyst for the Spiritual Journey’.\nWhen we are challenged by illness\, grief\, political events\, and a changing world\, we can be overcome by anxiety\, and powerlessness. We may need help with changing our attitude. Thomas Keating says unloading the undigested material of our psychological unconscious is the work of contemplative prayer\, and all of these challenges are necessary aspects of the spiritual journey.  They are not obstacles.  From experience we have found our contemplative practices have cultivated in us the freedom to allow our Higher Power to change us. \nIn this Series\, two long-time practitioners discuss how their experience allowed them to surrender to this Great Reality deep within and how their practices became the resource that moved them through the experience.  Some of you attending may have had similar experiences with powerlessness. There will be time to dialogue and listen to one another on this important topic. \nWe will begin with a 20 minute Centering Prayer sit.\nPart One RECORDING \, Dave M from Phoenix\, ‘Opening to God’s Healing During Uncertain Times’.\n  \nREGISTER HERE For Part Two
